Label direction and destination
School to activity is clearer than carpool. Include the departure time and distinguish it from the activity's start time.
Keep sensitive details private
Do not put children's personal information, home addresses, or permission documents in public vehicle labels or comments.
Recheck changed reservations
A cancellation can free a place, but the driver still needs the revised passenger plan. Agree how last-minute updates will be communicated.
