Make the thank-you thoughtful

A shared gift starts with a clear, considerate invitation.

Families should know what the coordinator plans to buy, when contributions are needed, and how to ask a question. Keep the invitation welcoming regardless of whether someone contributes.

  • Describe the agreed gift

State the plan or purchasing approach so families can decide whether to take part. Review it against the school's usual guidance.

  • Keep participation private and simple

The collection is not a public class attendance list. Ask only for the information needed to receive and manage payments.

  • Coordinate across the school

Organization can help a parent group share management and contacts across activities. A one-off class coordinator can also collect on Free.

Teacher Appreciation Gift Fund

Contribute if you would like to help with our agreed teacher appreciation gift. Choose your own amount from $1. Participation is optional, and a payment does not sign anyone up for a class event. Add the approved gift plan, coordinating contact, contribution deadline, and how unused money will be handled. Please keep student information out of payment messages.

A few practical questions

Before you share your collection

Is there a required amount for every family?
No. This example lets people choose their amount. Participation is optional, while each completed payment must be at least $1.
Does the page track who is attending a celebration?
No. Collections hold payment records, not attendance. Use a separate RSVP if you also organize a gathering.
Can we write a contribution deadline?
Yes. Include it in the description and pause collection when you want to stop new payments. The written date does not automatically close the page.
Does a payment mean the school approved the gift?
No. Confirm the plan and applicable school guidelines separately before sharing the collection. The template is a way to coordinate payment, not an approval process.
Do I need a paid plan to collect payments?
No. Payments are available on Free and Organization with an eligible US Stripe account and US-dollar payments. Complete Stripe setup for the personal or Organization workspace receiving the money. Transaction fees apply. Organization is useful when colleagues share management, contacts, and an ongoing program.
