AI Tools

Describe your event in plain words and let AI build the whole sheet: details, settings, slots or a poll, and polished descriptions.

The AI event builder

Describe your event in plain words, up to a few paragraphs, and the AI builder drafts the entire sheet: title, description, a fixed date and time if you mentioned one, a window of days with dated slots if you describe office hours or a volunteer week, or a poll when you ask the group to pick when or to choose among options (for example "which evening works" or "pizza or tacos"), signup settings, custom questions, and a full slot structure with capacities. Nothing is created until you review it. The draft lands in the event builder where you can edit every field before publishing.

Example

Describe your event

Volunteer day at the food bank on Nov 14. We need 6 people for sorting from 9 to 11, 4 for the loading dock from 11 to 1, and 2 drivers all day. Ask everyone for a phone number and whether they can lift 50 lbs.

Along with the draft, the builder returns a short summary of what it set up, a list of things worth reviewing, and any assumptions it made, so you know exactly what to double-check before you publish.

The AI slot generator

Already have your event details but dreading typing out 24 time slots? The slot generator turns a one-line instruction into a full slot list. It understands patterns like:

  • "Conference slots from 3 to 6 PM, every 15 minutes, 1 family each"
  • "4 main dishes, 6 sides, 4 desserts, 3 drinks"
  • "Three 2-hour shifts starting at 8 AM, 5 volunteers per shift"
  • "Office hours Monday through Thursday, 3:00 to 6:00 every hour, 2 people per slot"

On a Several dates & timesevent, tell it the pattern and it fills each row's date and time inside your first and last day. An optional label (Gym, Setup) is separate from the date.

When you are creating a new event it replaces the draft slots; when you are editing an existing event it appends, so you never lose slots that already have signups.

AI description rewriting

The description field has a one-click rewrite menu with five modes: cleanup fixes grammar and typos without changing your voice, excitement adds energy, professional and friendly shift the tone, and shorten keeps the essentials and trims the rest.

Example

Before

potluck saturday at the park everyone bring somthing, we got the grill going around 5, kids welcome dont forget chairs

After cleanup

Potluck this Saturday at the park! Everyone brings something to share. The grill fires up around 5 PM. Kids are welcome, and do not forget your chairs.

Example of the cleanup mode. Your wording stays yours; the polish is automatic.

How AI fits the workflow

All three tools are drafting aids, not autopilots. They fill in the event builder, and you stay in control of what gets published. Prompts are capped at a few thousand characters and requests are rate limited to keep the tools fast for everyone.
