Beyond the built-in fields, you can add up to 8 custom questions to any event. Answers are collected with the signup and appear next to each attendee on your dashboard, so day-of details live in one place instead of a follow-up email thread.
There are three question types:
- Text for short answers like a t-shirt size or a student name.
- Paragraph for longer answers like dietary restrictions or special requests.
- Number for counts and quantities, like how many chairs someone can bring.
Each question can be optional or required, and each gets its own placeholder text to show guests the kind of answer you expect.

Practical limits and where answers go
Question labels can be up to 60 characters, placeholders up to 120, and each answer up to 500. Answers are private to you: they never appear on the public page, only in your attendees view alongside the rest of each signup.
