Recurring Events
Create a reviewed weekly or monthly series in your organization, skip dates, and manage each occurrence separately.
Create a series from an event
Open an organization signup whose settings you want to reuse. Under Run it again, choose Create recurring series. The source event remains unchanged.
- Choose the title and first event date.
- Select weekly or monthly repetition for 2 to 24 weeks or months.
- Review the listed dates and uncheck any dates to skip. Keep at least two events.
- Choose Create drafts. The button shows how many drafts will be created.
- Open each draft to review its setup and publish it when ready.
The series has a finite end. It does not keep generating events in the background. Polls, including polls attached to a signup, are not supported in a series yet; use ordinary duplication for those events.
Dates and copied settings
Weekly events stay on the same weekday. Monthly events use the same day of the month. Months without that day are visibly skipped, so a series starting on the 31st does not silently move to the 28th.
Local times and the event timezone stay the same. Multi-day schedules and dated slots shift together. Supported signup questions, capacity rules, privacy, and notification settings carry over. Uploaded covers are omitted with a notice; stock covers can carry over.
Every occurrence has its own signup list and messages. Participants, votes, attendance, and earlier sends are not copied. Drafts are created together, so a failed batch does not leave a partial series. Retrying the same submitted preview does not create another set.
Manage occurrences
Choose Events → Recurring series in your workspace to find recent series. Open one to see its occurrences, or use View recurring series from an event.
Editing an individual event changes only that occurrence. Rename future drafts changes titles from a selected occurrence onward, provided every affected event is an upcoming draft without signups or polls. Published events and populated drafts must be edited individually. Bulk date, slot, and capacity changes are not part of this version.
To stop signups for one occurrence, open that event and close signups. Its existing records remain available. Review and send a participant message separately when a cancellation or change needs an explanation.
Free duplication and Org series
Free organizers keep single-event duplication and date shifting, along with multi-date slots and calendar links. A multi-date signup is one event; a recurring series creates separate events.
