Managing your eventOrg

Saved and Reusable Messages

Save wording from message history, use it in future messages with your organization, and review recipients before sending.

Save useful wording for your team

Open a message in your organization's Messages history, or an event's message history. For invitations, standalone contact messages, Quick Send, attendee updates, and follower announcements, choose Save message. Give it a recognizable name, such as Volunteer arrival instructions.

Admins and organizers share the same library. Saving does not send an email. Only the subject and your custom text are saved; recipient lists and automatic event, manage, and unsubscribe links are not. A source event can be deleted and its retained wording can still be saved.

Use a saved message

Select contacts for a standalone message, or choose an event and its recipients using the usual workflow. In the composer, open Saved messages, search all saved-message names or browse six results per page. Select a name to preview its wording. Choose another returns to the same search and page. Choose Use message to replace the current subject and message. The saved-message section collapses after applying the wording. Your recipient selection stays unchanged.

Edit dates, event names, and any links you typed yourself. For event messages, automatic links are generated for the current event. Then choose Review message or Review announcement and confirm the current recipients before sending.

Follower announcements allow a 140-character subject and 1,000-character intro. Other supported composers allow a 150-character subject and 2,000-character message. Wording that exceeds the current composer's limits cannot be applied; it is never silently shortened.

Keep the library useful

Select a saved message to Rename it or Delete it for the team. Deletion asks for confirmation and does not remove sent-message history. Using a saved message lets you edit the current draft without changing the saved copy. New saved messages are added from message history.

Saved messages belong to the organization and survive staff removal or account deletion. Removed members lose access. Inactive organizations retain read access; reactivation is required to reuse or change saved messages. Deleting the organization removes its saved library.
