Event Check-in
Record arrivals for confirmed signups, handle accompanying guests, and correct attendance from your organization's event roster.
Open the event roster
In your organization, open a published event and choose Open check-in. You can also choose Check-in from its Attendees page or the organization overview's event rows. Admins and organizers can record arrivals.
Check-in supports people signups and RSVPs. Item signups and pure polls do not have a check-in roster. Confirmed signups appear in the roster; pending signups must be confirmed through the existing attendee workflow first.
- Search for a name or email, or choose a shift.
- For a single person, choose Check in.
- For a party, enter how many people have arrived, including the person named on the signup, then choose Save arrivals.
Understand the counts
The count includes accompanying guests. If a signup is for three people and only two have arrived, record two. Each selected shift has a separate arrival record. In the All shifts view, someone with two shifts counts once in each shift.
Search and shift filters also apply to the displayed totals. Only the current page of roster entries is displayed, with Previous and Next for larger events. An unchecked signup means attendance has not been recorded; it is not automatically marked absent.
If a signup has no selected shift on a slotted event, select its shift from Attendees before recording arrivals. Signup capacity and attendance are separate: checking someone in does not reserve another spot.
Correct a mistake
Choose Undo check-in for a single person, or change a party's arrival count and save again. Zero clears the recorded arrivals. If another organizer has changed the same entry, the app asks you to refresh before saving over their change.
Check-in requires an internet connection. Check for the saved confirmation or error before moving on. An inactive organization can still read its recorded attendance, but new check-ins and corrections are paused.
Print a signup roster
On Attendees, choose Printable roster, then Print roster. The print view includes confirmed signups, party sizes, and all selected slots. It is a signup list, not proof of recorded attendance.
Managing attendees covers confirmations, participant changes, and existing messages.
